well if you are on your way to floroma town and you have not just come out of eterna forest then there will be a fishermon on a lonely platform first he will battle with you then if you come back later he will give you a good rod ( i think ) lemme just get my ds out and check i will write back in a minute

∙ 13y agoYou get the great rod by talking to a fisherman on the way to Solacean town from Hearthome.
Oh, and if you have beaten the Elite 4 and Cynthia, go to the Fight Area and there will be a fisherman standing by the gatehouse. And, the super rod, is better than the great rod.

∙ 13y agoGo to route 223 and speak to the only fisherman on this route (fishing) and he will ask you a question, respond "YES" and he will give you the good rod which goes to key items pocket!
