How do you get the kaiser knuckles for wargarymon in Digimon World 4?

Theory is that you must complete hard mode, go back to Death Valley, goto the place with the switch ( In the first area where you spawn at when entering) instead of the larger goblin, it is replaced by a 'King' ( aka: silver crown) Numenumon. Kill the king and he will drop player 1's signature weapon, the Kaiser Knuckles. You must defeat Mecha Rouge X leave for Death Valley and obtain the weapon without saving and quitting, resetting or turning off the system. I suggest having good Strength for fighting the king, and a cure tech for defeating Mecha Rouge X.
