How do you get the key to new mauville in Pokemon emerald?

There are to ways, but you must have a bike. Go to the North of Slatport you end up in Route 110. You can use a bike or go walking under the Cycling Road or to go faster use a bike and go on Cycling Road. Then your there.

In order to get to Mauville City in Pokemon Sapphire, the player must first visit the museum in Slateport and battle Team Aqua. After getting rid of them, Route 110 is open. At the end of the route, the player battle their rival and then they are free to proceed to Mauville City.

Go north from Slateport. There will be a roadblock of Team Aqua members. You will have to defeat the members at the Oceanic Museum, then the road will be open for you.
