How do you get the legendaries in Pokemon LeafGreen?

I believe the only available Hoenn Legendaries aside from trade, pal park, AR or events, are Kyogre/Groudon and Latios/Latias. Only Latios and Groudon are available in Soul Silver.

After you travel to Kanto you will eventually talk to someone who shows you a picture of Latios. it will then be a roaming Pokemon in Kanto, similar to the legendary dogs in Johto.

To get Groudon you must beat all 16 gyms as well as Red on Mt. Silver. After you beat Red go see Prof. Oak and he will give you a Kanto starter Pokemon and the Red Orb. Then go to Cianwood in Johto. Go through the cave leading to the Safari zone. When you come to the first cave with 2 ladders, go down. Surf west until you see a ledge you can rock climb. climb up and enter the cave where you will find Groudon.

you go right from misty's city and follow the path until you see water, surf from there and you will reach a power plant where zapdos is.Articuno is in the seafoam island i think.And moltres is.....i don't know where he is, and i think you still get mewtwo on that game as well.

You can get a shiny legendary 3 ways:

1. Use an Action Replay Cheat!

2. Hope you get LUCKY enough to get one without a cheat!

and 3. Save the game before fighting legendary Pokemon and talk to it...if it ain't shiny then turn off game and repeat this until shiny legendary pops up!

Either cheat or hope that your luck that's it I ounce playing ruby when i ran into a shiny oddish i just got lucky.

U can do over 300 resets, but its not worth.

Ho-oh and lugia cant be shiny.
