Well, if you are going to get to Celedon City go to Lavender Town and keep going to the left. You have to battle a bunch of people if you haven't already. You will then see an underground path. Go through it and you will find yourself on Route 7. Go to the the top left hand corner. You will be in Celedon city.
First off, it's Lavender TOWN. There are plenty of ways to get to Celadon City. 1. You can take the underground. If you go left from Lavender Town, past a patch of grass, and about 10 or 11 trainers, there will be two buildings near a nerd. Go to the top, smaller one with the sign post saying Underground. Go through this, and then on the other end, once you've exited, go left, and you will be at Celadon City. 2. If you've been to Celadon before and gotten the Tea from the old woman in the house where you get the eevee, then you can simply cut through saffron. I'd recommend the Saffron route, but if you have not been to Celadon before, then you have to take the underground. There is another way, but you need the Poke Flute for it (to wake up the Snorlax blocking your path) but, if you do not have the Poke Flute (which you won't, if you have never been to Celadon) then don't panic.
