How do you get to cianwood city in Pokemon Silver?

You get there by Surfing from olvine city. Also you have to go there, because an amberdois is sick.

EDIT:: I don't know what an "amberdois" is...but ampharos is sick in the tower. You have to obtain surf from the man watching the dancing girls in Ecruteak city. Then you have the capability to surf.

surf there you get suf in ercuteck town in one of the houses where the are different coulored ladies who have all the evolutions of eevee. once you beat all of them there is a guy with a hat on next to a Pokemon in the same building gives you surf

If you're playing on a cartridge and rocks are blocking Cianwood off, then I don't know what to tell you... Don't feel bad, though, my cartridge had Beta 2 as well.

there are rocks blocking the way to cianwood city , so you probably need a GameShark or an action repley. - k-ram

you go to olivine city, go south, and surf south go west and continue south

From Olivine City, surf a little south and west. When you find a beach with flag stands on it, you arrived at Cianwood City.
