To get Cresselia, eternal enemy of Darkrai, representative of the crescent moon on Pokemon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum, you need to have defeated the Elite 4 and have obtained the National Dex. Then you need to go to Canalave City and into the house above the dock. Cure the boys nightmares by completing his task and then go to the sailor underneath the house, talk to him and you will have the oppurtunity to go to New Moon Island. Proceed therefore, and you will be at an island in the middle of nowhere! Go across the path and Into the Woods and talk to Cresselia lvl 50. She will then start roaming Sinnoh! I would recommend you uing your master ball if you haven't already because of the fact that she roams!

you go to canclave city go across the bridge (you need the national pokedex) go to a house where a little boy is sleeping talk to the mum and she'll say can you get a wing then talk to the boat guy and he'll say go to fullmoon island go into a cave thing and you'll meet cressela the Pokemon will fly away and leave a pokeball and that's the wing go back to the house and talk to the boy and he'll wake up. hope i helped
How come it wont let you get to dakrai when you go to lunar island and see cressela?
Because you need to go to a special Nintendo event to get Darkrai that will let you go inside Harbor inn in Canalave where you'll fall asleep have anight mare and batlle and catch Darkrai.

How to get cressela on Pokemon platinum?
First you must get the national dex. Go to canalave city. Talk to the sailor's son whose house is at the southern most part of the canalave gym. He will be resting on a bed and he will be having a diseases in which he sees nightmares. Talk to the sailor who is his father and he will take you to full moon island then you can find cresselia but it wll flee and leave a lunar wing. Go to the sailor's house at canalave city and use the lunar wing on the boy. Then he will feel alright again. Again talk to the sailor who will take you to full moon lsland and then u will have to chase cresselia and at last you can catch it.

How do you catch a cressela in Pokemon pearl?
First you must have the national pokedex, then you go to canalave and go to the sailors house. there should be a boy having nightmares. Talk to the mother and boy then to the sailor he should take you to full moon island or whatever its called. If you follow the path you come across cresselia and then she flies away leaving the lunar wing. after that you go back to the sailer and give the wing to the boy. to catch cresselia, use your marking map, because cresselia flys away like mesprit. :) Good luck catching it!
