After you receive the first 4 Gym Badges, you have to travel to Petalburg City and battle your Dad. Afterwards, he will tell you Wally's parents have something for you, and it is HM Surf. So go to Wally's house, just beside the Gym you just defeated, and talk to him parents. After you receive HM Surf, teach it to one of your Pokemon. Now go to Mauville City, then head right until you reach a beach-like route, 118. Surf into the water and follow until you reach Fortree City.

∙ 16y agoAnswer If you dont know how to fly yet, the only way to get to lilycove city is from fortree city. Once your done in Fortree city, follow the path on the left of town, which leads you all the way to lilycove city. Just keep referring to your Pokenav!

∙ 12y agoGo to where you found Soodowoodo and surf down the waterfall, then head to the left of the screen. Eventually you will find the cave entrance. The only Pokemon that you can catch inside are Smeargles, but they are pretty strong...

∙ 11y agoTo get to the Fortree Gym you need to go in the Weather Station and defeat Team Aqua there. You are then given access to Fortree City. Now if you go onto Route 120, You'll see Steven. He'll give you the Devon Scope which lets you see camouflaged Pokemon. You my then go back to Fortree to get access to the gym (camouflaged Pokemon). (This also gives you access to a hidden object on Route 120.)

∙ 13y agoKeep going past Fortree (through it and beyond) cross the thick bridge and talk to Steven. He'll give you the Devon Scope which will detect the invisible blockage in front of the gym and reveal it to be a Kecleon. Then you can get past and into the gym.
