To get to Mount Silver you must beat all 16 gym badges and speak to professor oak in pallet town, and he will give you the ticket. then you can access mount silver through going to the left of viridian city. PKMN Trainer RED (basically stronger version of Ash) is there, deep in the cave. Pikachu Lv. 81 (use anything 50+ with Earthquake on it) Espeon Lv. 73(I used my Lv. 61 Lugia on it) Blastoise Lv. 77 (I used Grass than Lugia) Charizard Lv. 77 (Lugia) Venusaur Lv. 77 (I chose Cindaquil, used Lv. 47 Typhlosion w/ Flame Wheel) Snorlax Lv. 75 (It knows rest and snore, but amnesia as well. Awake, only Body Slam will injure you. I reduced it's PP down to just Amnesia, and killed it w/ my Lv. 53 Snorlax's Rollout) I built up my item supply very high before fighting him. I had like 45 Revives, 7 Max Revives, 25 Full Restores, 35 Hyper Potions, and 30 Lemonades. I don't know where he goes after you beat him, it's like he disappears into thin air. P.S. I beat him on my Crystal Version, with more specifically:Parasect Lv:46 Slash Flash (needed to get through cave) Solarbeam Giga Drain Typhlosion Lv: 47 Swift Rock Smash Flame Wheel Quick Attack Suicune Lv: 48 Waterfall Whirlpool Bubblebeam Aurora Beam Snorlax Lv: 53 Rollout Body Slam Strength Earthquake Lugia level 61 Fly Gust Recover Hydro Pump Gyarados Lv: 65 Surf Thrash Hydro Pump Hyper Beam

∙ 12y agoto get to MT Silver you have to beat all the gyms then can go through the place the man was blocking off by vermion city too the left where the Pokemon league was on Pokemon fire red.Hope this will help you

∙ 13y agoYou WOULD have had to beat all the Johto and Kanto gyms, but Zel never added Pewter City, Virdian City, Pallet Town, or Cinnabar Island, which would have had the remaining gyms you would've needed to gain access to get to Mt. Silver. But as of November 2010, Zel has returned to the internet. Maybe he'll release a new version of the game that'll add these missing gaps...
