To get an Umbreon, upgrade an Eevee at night (8:00p.m. - 4:00a.m.) while holding a Soothe Bell. In other words, have an Eevee happy with you and upgrade it at nighttime.
TIP: Ways to get it happy with you are to feed it a LOT of vitamins, and holding a Soothe Bell. Just upgrade it 1 level (make sure it likes you) and it WILL evolve to an Umbreon.

you have to walk very very much and you have to train it lvl 25 or higher at night.
You don't have to level it up beyond any specific level. Eevee will evolve below level 25 as long as it has enough friendship.

∙ 14y agoto get a umbreon in souls silver and heart gold first find bill in etreucka city and listen to what he says he will tell you where he is going and later in the game you will have to go back to golden rod city to save the radio tower from team rocket and then you might find bill there after you save goldenrod city then he will give you a eevee and find the moon stone and give it to eevee and it will evolve into umbreon hope this helps you

∙ 12y agoYou have to befriend an eevee at night. Just battle with the eevee at night and when it evolves, it should become an Umbreon. Remember it has to be at night or if you do it during the day, it will evolve into an Espeon.

A haircut Is nice also upping its stats with stat potions. If you can get it happy with you with out lvling you can have a Umbreon @ lvl2 and since it starts getting Umbreon attacks (instead of Eevee attack) at lvl 15 you want that critter happy with you BEFORE then. What I would do is get Eevee and then breed it with Ditto and get several lvl1 Eevees and then make them happy with you for Espeon and Umbreon and just use stones on the rest for the other Eevelutions, not sure thought how to get the new ones from DPP though haven't researched that yet. Probably just trade.
