In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue Rescue Team, link cables are found where important items were once kept i.e. HM's, etc. For example, if you have surf, on floor 20 of Solar Cave, where Surf once was, a link cable will now be there. Important items are found in Solar Cave, Wyvern Hill, Mt. Faraway and Wish Cave.

Where can you find the key in solar cave in mystery dungeon blue rescue team?
You can usually find them lying around Solar Cave itself, but you can also find them in Desert Region. Just check all the floors properly, and you should find a few. There are doors in Wyvern Hill, Desert Region and, of course, Solar Cave. Behind these doors, there is all kinds of treasure, HM's for instance, but you'll have to make sure you've got a Pokemon in your team that can move over water, as the treasure is usually surrounded by it.
