you must go to celdon city and beat team rocket in their eperation there and you will receive silp scope. Then go back and you will be able to identify the ghosts. Marowak is the ghost causing all the trouble, you cannot catch this Pokemon, you have to kill it.

∙ 14y agokeep going up the stairs until you reach floor 6,7 or 8 then go south to a warp pad teleport to the area it takes you then teleport back you should be standing on the warp pad go down one more step.The rocket will ask to battle you,beat him and go right you will see an item it should be the card key this will letyou go through the locked doors
Note:this won't get through the whole of silph.Co but should help.
