Making an online game can be accomplished in two ways: 1) Use several of the excellent online game editors to build a simple online game (examples of this can be found at pbmcube.com who has an ever expanding collection of online game builders.); 2) Learn to create online games using either flash, director or java. Of the three, flash is the most popular and many books are written on how to create games using this technology. Director is more complicated and uses javascript, while java is the most complicated and required significant training. There is another way to create online games! I recommend using either Game Maker - a program I use to teach my high school students how to program - or Torque - which is my favorite to build advance professional looking 3D games and games for the XBox.

14 easy steps to make Pokemon games

1. download advancemap. search it on Google to find it. download latest version.

2. After that search and find the Pokemon game ROM you wish to edit.

3. download the ROM.

4. open advancemap.

5. once in click edit ROM or something like that.

6. in the file searcher, open the ROM you downloaded.

7. use the tiles to make your game.

8. once done, save it to a file you'll remember and find a ROM player on the internet. i recommend no$gba for gameboy roms.

9. Download that.

10. open the ROM player.

11. it will ask you which ROM to play.

12. Click the ROM file where you saved your edited Pokemon game

13. click ok.

14. now use the arrows and enter to play your new game!

NOTE: to edit text and events you must have special software.

TIP: If you have an empty disk, in advancemap, click burn to CD. MAKE SURE THERE IS NO DISK IN DISK DRIVE!!!!!!!!!! THIS WILL DELETE WHATEVER IS ON IT!!!!!!! Then you can take it over and give it to someone who has a ROM player.
