How do you make a glider like Aang's?

I'm sorry, but it's not possible to make a glider that flies like Aang's, but it's possible to make something kind of like it. # Get a long, thin piece of wood a bit taller than you. # Get 3 pieces of poster board. # Aline 2 pieces of the poster board together. # Cut it out the shape of one wing wile the 2 are together. That way you will have 2 wings the same shape. # Use the 3rd piece to make the bottom wing. Fold the piece in half and cut a half a triangle out. # Glue the first 2 wings together with a hot glue gun. # Glue the long piece of wood on the wings. # On the bottom, glue the 3rd wing on.

If you want to make it easier to hold, get 2 more tiny pieces of wood and cut it so it looks like a handle. Do the same thing with the other piece of wood, then use the hot glue gun to glue them on.

to make the glider:

1) find a long,strong stick.

2)get one of those handheld fans(the non-electric type)

3)get a metal pole (slightly shorter than the stick) and a curtain

4) now you have the equipment, time to get making:

5) take the stick and the metal pole, get some string and tie them together to make a shape resembling jesuses cross (see Google images)

6) cut a large semicircle shape from the curtain

7) attach the curve of this shape to the wooden stick, and attach the corners to the ends of the metal pole. you now have the main wing.

8)for the tail wing: take the handheld fan and open it up fully. next, take some sellotape and tape it to the bottom end of the wooden stick.

9) there you have it: aang's glider. unfortunately you cannot fold the top wing away. you can, however, fold the tail wing away

but you could just use a regular glider and pretend
