Party Planning is a sector of the event planning field. Its just a little more specialized instead than the broader event planning field. So to become a party planner you should look for resources that can help you develop the know-how required. I'll provide some good resources for you to start with, below.

Another specialized sector of the event planning field is the field of professional wedding planning. This might be something you may also want to look into because it is extremely lucrative (much more so than party planning because weddings cost A LOT of money, as opposed to the typical party). To become a wedding planner these days, proper training is key. Most couples will not hire someone to handle their wedding plans if the wedding planner does not have proper training. Who would?! I've researched this area extensively out of my own personal interest in the field and I have heard repeatedly that the best wedding planner course is the one from The International Institute of Weddings (InstituteOfWeddings.com); its also available through SuperWeddings.com as The SuperWeddings Certification Program (

A party planner should have access to talented and professional performers that can perform at parties to make the events memorable and special. Check out great websites to that connect party planners with performers here: bit.ly/1ICY4XK
Start with the basics- You can do any or all of these things below to start out but basically you need to decide what kind of wedding you want, how long you have to plan it and what kind of wedding you can afford. Start thinking about colors, where you might wanna get married. Are you really religious, do you want to get married outside, do you want a destination wedding, do you want a winter wedding, do you want a Parisian themed wedding?
get some wedding books or magazines
get a planner
go to a wedding planning website like theknot.com or weddingchannel.com.
BASIC QUESTIONS:
1. Date (just start with time of year, worry about the actual date later)
2. Budget (who's contributing, remember that sometimes when people contribute they think they run the show)
3. Theme/Style (your wedding vision)
Decide how much you can reasonable spend, remember the beauty of a wedding is not measured in money spent.
Most halls, and churches book up a year or more in advance so choosing locations as soon as possible is always wise.
Get a list of possible guests together, the number will help you determine how large of a site you need.
If dealing with a tight budget, make a list of what is most important to you, examples would be,
great dress? Great Location? A million Flowers? So that your money can be budgeted in a way that gets you want is most important to you. Then you can save on the other items.
When choosing a date remember certain times of the year are cheaper, in season flowers are cheaper, and be sure to pick a date that does not interfere with others special occasions.
if you are thinking about having a party look trough all these steps ... talk to your mom/dad about having a party and plan a day for example 2/5/08 if having at a swimming pool.... plan it with them and if change the date if needed. when you get all that set up think about people to invite to your party . when you have all that sorted out , go ahead and make the invatations include date ,time start and time end , where , plan ... tell your friends what you are doing to feel more comfortable . and then finally what to bring ( in any kind of order ...? ) give your friends at least 2-3 weeks to think if they can go , and then keep track of who can and who can not come , plan snacks for the party and ask your mom/dad to get them for you . . . for example if the party starts at 1 :00 go at 12:30 to get ready for it and then tell your friends where to put all the presents and enjoy the party

The first thing you should do is get in touch with your neighbors and find a day that will work for most of you to get together for a party. Most block parties, involve closing off the block from vehicle traffic. Therefore, you should make sure that your neighbors are fine with having this event. After coming up with a day, start to figure out a game plan. Do you want to have people BBQ? Perhaps have different houses in charge of different foods. Additionally, will you be setting up games like horseshoes and inflatable slides for the children? Set up music and have each person come up with ideas so that everyone feels included and a part of the process.

The reasons are quite clear in the book. Briefly, this was part of Voldemort's plan, to get Harry Potter into his power, use his blood for his "rebirth", and then kill him. This last part of Voldemort's plan failed.
Harry Potter all the way. It's an awesome Birthday theme, especially for your sweet 16th.
