How do you recruit Groudon in blue rescue team?

First, your character must be atleast Level 40.(make sure you fought Rayquaza and saved the world before you do this) Your team needs to be on Diamond Rank or higher. Then, go to Magma Cavern. Make sure you bring the following items: Friend Bow(optional) Reviver Seeds Apples or Huge Apples Gravelrocks, Iron Thorns, Sticks, or Silver Spikes(if you dont have any moves like Quickattack or Hydropump) Go all the way until you reach Groudon. Before making a move, make your Friend Bow your hold item. Then, use your weapons or your moves that can be used away from opponents, and when Groudon walks in front of you, start using moves on him. Use super-effective moves(if you have any) and use the weapons too. If you have moves like Attract or Stun Spore, use' em, and stop Groudon from moving. Defeat him with all your might, and if lucky, he will ask to join your team.(You may have to encounter him a few more times if he goes away) Good luck!!

i have groudon, and heres what you do, ok first if you are a legendary or have one on your team he wont join you.so be your starter Pokemon and when you get to where you can save your game, save it and go through it to groudon and beat him and make sure you have a friend bow, if groudon does not join you shut your game off and then back on and start from where you saved your game.if you do this a couple of times ,groudon should join you. it worked for me and it should work for you. hope this helps! ^_^ by: Mew232

I'll try to keep this simple...

Now, you may need a friend bow (wondermail code: ??7? ??...? 4??? +F?? F4?6 K???) and I will just use my exampal Pokemon (Blastoise level 75). Just save at the statue and battle groudon with whoever you choose (best Blastoise or second best any other starter Pokemon, but you MUST have a high level). If he dose not join you then turn it off and on again and in time (it took me 2 tries) he will be yours.

Also throw a red gummy and a brown gummy at Groudon before attacking him. This worked on the 1st try!

It works on other legendaries too. Just give them the gummy they like

ex. kyogre: blue

First, level up till 90 or more, then bring a Friend Bow and Oran Berries. When you reach the Kangaskan statue, go save your game, then continue. When you reach Groudon, hit him a few times, then throw one Oran Berry. After that, hit him again. Throw more Oran Berries, then take him down. If he wont join your team, turn off the game and restart!! :D

After the credits roll you will be able to recruit legendary Pokemon. There are certain requirements needed, however. Use attacks that only hit the enemy in front, and don't use status moves. Battle any legendary under these circumstances and they should join your team when they are defeated. Groudon is at the end of Magma Cavern, so bring a strong water type with you just to be on the safe side.

I'll give you a tip in recruiting legendary pokemons quickly and you will get them with their real health

first get some reviver seeds.(don't recruit pokemons in the dungeon,they would use the reviver seed.it is for the legendary pokemon that you want to recruit only or groundon)

then if you are in a dungeon with a save point,save your game so you can shut down your game when you did not recruit him.when you reach him,drop your reviver seed and let him pick it up and kill him.then he revive,kill him again and keep pressing a and he might join you.i got groundon on my first try with my lvl 94 charizard w/friend bow&i'm platinum rank.I got rayquaza the same way too.

You must first beat Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. You should now have the Rainbow Wing. Then, go to Mt. Faraway(you can get the Friend Bow along the way if you have a Key) Ho-Oh will not join you on your first encounter, but chances are, he will join you on your second or third encounter. Good luck!!!

Meh, ,you need wondermail to unlock his dungeon, Shimmer Desert. But you need to have to have received the secret rank from scizor first.

You need the secret rank from scizor.. (obtained by saving him), then u need the wondermail code for "shimmer desert" i don't know that code, so just type it in on Google. There are 9 floors, and groudoun is on floor 10, there's not a guarenteed recruit but u can keep switching ur ds on and off and keep trying until u recruit him.
