Jack the vehicle up. Make sure the vehicle is on a jack stand. Remove the wheel nuts, by turning them to the left. Remove the wheel.
Open the tailgate. Remove the cargo net.The tools and jack are behind a cover in the cargo area on the driver's side. Remove the cover by turning the handle counterclockwise, then pulling out the cover.Take the tools out of the storage compartment.Turn the jack's end bracket counterclockwise to loosen it, then remove the jack.
Turn the actuation screw to collapse the jack, and then it will come free.

Open the compartment on the left side of the luggage area. Take the jack ludge from the inside of the compartment cover and use it to lower the jack about one inch. Remove the jack when there is enough space between the top bracket and the jack to remove it. To put it back simply lower it, put it back and extend it to make sure it does not move during driving.
If you don't have a jack or wheel wrench there is no way to remove the tire. Unless you can turn the holder with a pliers, wrench or socket.
