To get the jack out, first ensure that the vehicle is securely supported on a flat surface. If you're referring to a car jack, simply turn the handle or lever counterclockwise to lower the vehicle until the weight is off the jack. Once the jack is fully lowered, you can remove it from under the vehicle. Always remember to store the jack in a safe place after use.

Jack the vehicle up. Make sure the vehicle is on a jack stand. Remove the wheel nuts, by turning them to the left. Remove the wheel.

Turn the actuation screw to collapse the jack, and then it will come free.
