Go to the select menu go down to the book, open it up and turn the page once to the right and there you have (button sequence : esc; down; ctrl or enter; right; ctrl or enter)
You can't really skip a level in Tomb Raider: Legend without completing the game first (of course you could cheat if you're on the PC version uses a Save Game). With completed the game you'll unlock a replayability section in which you can replay any level within the game. You cannot, to my knowledge, skip a level in Tomb Raider: Legend - but you could in the older games by 'exploding' Lara (something I'd love to return in future games!).
No you should restart it all.. but here you a tip... save each Level Bigining at a saving file...so you can load it Again and Again...
No all u get to do s save if u don't have a memory card u have 2 start all the way over/at the beginning
To save load and exit you press escape: esc and to see health items weapons and notebook press tab (above caps lock)
There is no particular order you need to play the levels in, but if you want to be able to use save games from the internet the preferred order is Nevada, Pacific Islands and then London.

There is an option in the menu, at the very top, I think. I think it also autosaves so no worries.

To save a map, you need to buy the full version of the game. Sorry Lite version users.

you do new game then save over the other game
Press start and a menu will pop up on the right hand side. Go down to save and save your game. Doing this will overwrite your previous save.
To save your game you have to go to the main menu. Its really weird but it works. At least for me.
In the Japanese version if you die in the game or on a mission its an automatic GAME OVER. In the American version you can only die on the mission mode and still have a chance to save. In the actual game if you die before you get a chance to save then you SOL. Start from where you last began.
