There is an app on the poketech that allows you to see where it went, but whatever you do, do not fly there, it will move to a random route, rather, try walking around when your close to it, and it will only jump to a nearby route. Also it usually runs on the first turn, so either have a very fast pokemon, or have a master ball on hand.
