If you have a Gameboy you go into any Pokemon center in either game and go to the lady in the middle (union room) you need a USD link cable and the rest is self explanitory as long as a person from each game is on as for Nintendo ds (not DSI) i don't know

∙ 12y agoIf your trying to use a DS to trade Pokemon from firered to leafgreen or ruby or sapphire or emerald unfortunately you will fail because the DS is not compatible with the GBA link cable or the wireless adapter, you can only migrate using ruby and sapphire and emerald and firered and leafgreen when using a DS to migrate you need a diamond or pearl or platinum game that is completed and has the national dex you must save your GBA game in a Pokemon center but you can't have the Pokemon you want to trade in your party you NEED to put them in your PC. Then choose migrate on diamond or pearl or platinum and follow instructions until it takes you to the GBA games PC choose the 6 Pokemon you want to migrate confirm them then go to the Pal Park and catch the migrated Pokemon.

put diamond/pearl in both of the ds's the put firered in one and leafgreen in the other once you've done that just click migrate and have fun
