The only way to get wifi free is to use someone elses wifi receiver because wifi was not dizigned for Pokemon. Nintendo got permission to use wifi so Pokemon games can be connected to wifi. :(

You use wifi for Gts (global trade station) Battle ppl who are faraway. You have to have a wireless router to get wifi though.
