How do you trade emerald Pokemon to platinum?

Ok first off you need to have beaten the elite four and champion and seen all 210 Pokemon in the Sinnoh region. Next after going through the scenes that follow save your game and then either turn off your DS ( if you have regular DS or a DS Lite). Then return to the game and to the options menu ( the screen that shows up after the title screen) and somewhere below continue game and new game there should be a box saying migrate from leafgreen or whatever Pokemon version game you have placed in the GBA port of the DS or DS lite and then select any six Pokemon you want out of your Pokemon storage boxes but once you've selected six Pokemon to migrate you cannot do this again until 24 hours have passed by.

First of all, you have to get your Nintendo DS, DS Lite, or DSi. Put Pokemon Leaf Green in the GBA slot, Pokemon Platinum should be in the DS slot. Turn on the DS, and select Pokemon Platinum. There should be an option on the main menu (the one that has the options to make you play, check Wi-Fi Connection, etc.) that says "Migrate from Leaf Green." Select "Migrate from Leaf Green." You must choose 6 Pokemon out of your PC in Pokemon Leaf Green. Lastly, play your Platinum Version and go to Pal Park. Talk to the man at the counter, and he'll let you into Pal Park, where you catch your migrated Pokemon. There is no chance of the Pokemon to break out of the Park Balls. This only works when you have the National Pokedex in Platinum. It works for Pokemon Fire Red, Leaf Green, Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald to migrate to Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, and possibly Soul Silver and Heart Gold.
