How do you unlock veridian gym doors on Pokemon fire red?

first off buy some max repels & escape ropes now fly 2 cinnabar island now go around & inside the cinnabar mansion use 1 max repel go up the stairs you see the statue on your left flip the switch now go right & up & left up the stairs flip the switch & come down no need 2 speak 2 the scientist just fall down. fight the scientist if you want then go around & down the steps now go up left, & down to where you;ll see another scientist fight him if you want flip the switch now go through and back around & up past the scientist into the cubicle flip the switch & come out and go all the way left into the cubicle take the secret key off the table now ESCAPE you can now go fight blane after you fight blaine you can fly back 2 viridian city & beat up giovanni..veronica

They should already be unlocked, and if they aren't try to move on to the next city and a boy will stop you and take you over to the Gym, right after you beat the gym, you get the running shoes from Professor Oak's Aid. Enjoy! :)

First, you insert the key in the door's keyhole then you twist the key.

TADAAA!!! Congratulations, you have now opened the gym.
