How do you use a treasure map on Avatar the Last Airbender for GameCube?

The treasure map allows you to see the location of the hidden chests. You go to the inventroy and go to the maps section and you'll know you'll have the map if you see several chest icons around the map. The maps can be purchased at market stalls in each level, but they get more and more expensive. You can enter in the cheat code 37437 to unlock all the maps for free. However, since the cheat is not permanent, you do have to enter in the code every time you load up the game.
