I assume your using GameShark.
1: Go to "Cheats" (top of the screen) then "Cheat list..."
2: Click on "Gameshark..."
3: The "Description" is the name of the cheat (it can be anything you want)
4: Type in the code you want to use/test in "Code"
5: Now press the "OK" button and wallah! You've got your cheat!
P.S: After you hit "OK", make sure that the Check-box to the left of the cheat is
Checked (if you want the cheat activated).
