A password, or more officially "Card Number", refers to the eight-digit number that most cards have on the bottom-left corner on the card. Card Numbers, while serving no real purpose in the actual game, do serve a purpose in Video Games. By entering a card number found on a given card (usually in a "Password" selection screen), a player may obtain that card for their virtual collection, although various restrictions are placed on this depending on the game. Note that not all cards will have a Card Number on them, meaning these cards cannot be obtained in a video game. It may also occur that the video game assigns a password, instead of a Card Number to that card so that it may be available.
If you look at the bottom left corner of every YGO card it will have a serial number. Enter the code in the Password menu and you can get the card (though it costs).
You go to the store and hit the robotish thing. Then you enter the number at the bottom of a card. To get it thoe you need the real card and 80% of the package it came in.
