JK doesnt want anyone from different nationalities playing British characters etc. Except French and Bulgarian people for the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students. There are no Australian witches and wizards in the Harry Potter series so therefore they are no parts unless you have an Irish, scottish or English accent.
