If you are talking about the third book, The Titan's Curse, than this is the answer. Hunters of Artemis and Campers must go on the quest to save Artemis, but Percy is hoping to find Annabeth and save her, too. So, Zoe Nightshade, Bianca di Angelo, and another Hunter must go with Thalia Grace, Daughter of Zeus and Grover Underwood, Satyr to rescue them. The last hunter that was supposed to go got sick from centaur blood and Percy took her place. At first they didn't know Percy was going, but then they found out when they ran into him in, The Smithsonian. So they made their way west to Mount Tamalpais to get Artemis and Annabeth. Bianca died on the way, and Grover took Bessie- the ophiotaurus Percy named- back to the camp. Zoe, Thalia, and Percy passed the Garden of the Hesperides and went up the mountain. There, they found Artemis and Annabeth. Artemis was holding up the sky and Annabeth was tied up. Percy took hold of the sky so Artemis could fight Atlas. Percy and Artemis tricked him into holding up the sky once again and then Annabeth's dad came in his plane with bullets made of celestial bronze, the only thing that could kill monsters. They got away with Artemis and Annabeth but Zoe Nightshade perished because of her father. That is how they saved Annabeth.

∙ 11y agoWhen Annabeth Chase was seven, she ran away from her home because it is said in the books that Annabeth thought her step-mom thought she was a freak. Annabeth, because she was a demigod, her family was getting attacked by monsters constantly. Annabeth was in an ally where Thalia and Luke heard a sound and they soon found Annabeth. Annabeth thinks that they are monsters and she comes out with a hammer and kicks Luke and tries to get them away. Soon Luke says that Annabeth is now part of their family and that is how Annabeth Chase is found in Percy Jackson and the Olumpians.
