Alison a friend of Aria, Emily, Spencer, and Hanna goes missing. A year later the girls find out that someone found her body in the ground-dead. The reason the girls were so close was because when they were at Spencer's house in the summer they saw a boy looking through her window watching them change. Alison was sure she saw him and was furious so she made them through a firework into his garage. The garage immediately caught fire and they accidentally blinded his sister Jenna forever. Once they found her body they were sure Toby- Jenna's brother- killed her for revenge on his sister. But later they realized he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and Spencer falls in love with him. Later the police thought that Spencer killed Ali because she was jealous. Then Ian- Spencer's older sister's husband- Is accused of killing her then tried to hang Spencer because she knew to much. But in the end a mysterious person comes by and pushed Ian so he is hung. Throughout all of this the girls get messages of a anonymous person saying stuff that only Ali knew. But she was harsh and tried to kill them several times. In the end of each message it said --A. The girls guessed who 'A' is but never guessed right until Hanna got a message from A but using a real cell phone. - It was Mona. One of Hanna's friends. She raced back to the girls but while she was running toward them a car came out of nowhere and hit her making her lose her memory of what happened. Until Spencer said something about Mona she remembered what happened. Spencer got in a fight with Mona and Mona tried to kill her but Spencer pushed her off of a cliff. Later they still get messages from A. They find out that the knew A is the real Alison. Alison had a twin sister named Courtney who was mental and always was acting like her. Her family thought they took Courtney but she actually took Alison. While Ali was away Courtney befriended the girls and kept there secrets in a diary. When Ali was back she killed Courtney for ruining her life and took her diary and planned on killing the girls. She caught Spencer's barn on fire and Ali supposedly never got out but the cops never found her body after the girls were out of the barn safely. Hope this helps! - Zendayastar
