She's brave and caring, since she does go in the games to save her little sister, but more than that. She's great at playing the whole star crossed lovers act. She's also very kind to peeta,most of the time, while there in the cave.

∙ 12y agoDepending on who you are and what your position is, people's comparisons to Katniss vary. Personally, Katniss is a little more cold than me, much braver, and finds in a much, much more difficult situation than I am. (Having to compete in the Games)

Its hard to tell. Depedning on when in the story, she loves either Gale or Peeta... But she ends up with peeta. Katniss says she loves Gale, but shes says he is kindled fire and rage, and she has enough of that, and that's why she picks the messed up Peeta, stung by trackerjackers.

Well because, Gale only started loving her 6 months before the reaping. Gale also had kissed many girls before, while Peeta had loved her eversince he laid eyes on her. Gale also is two years older than Katniss and at first thought she was annoying when he first met her when she was 12 and he was 14 while Peeta Mellark is the same age as Katniss. Peeta even got a beating from his mother and gave her bread when they were young, when Katniss was 11 and on the verge of death because of starvation. Peeta even vowed to protect Katniss. He wanted her to go on becasue he understands how much katniss cares for her family. in my opinion Peeta and katniss make a better couple than Gale and Katniss.
