I love the Percy Jackson books, but the movie sucks, BIG TIME. First there is no Clarisse, Ares or many other Characters. They know immediatly he is the son of poesidon and where the heck did they think they could call this movie Percy Jackson. It is so unlike it they shouldn't be able to all it that. THey should have to call its Jercy Packson or something!
Yes.
Jake Able plays Luke in Percy Jackson and the Olimpians: The Lightnig Theif

Well if you read the other book you'd be able to it's luke and kronos

I'm not sure, but on YouTube, try looking up something like "Percy Jackson Lightning Thief movie part 1". The people who upload that kind of stuff usually posts the website link where they got the movie from. Also, if you can't get your hands on a Percy Jackson book, then go onto YouTube. Look up "DrakeShadowfire" and go onto his account profile thing. (Hope I was helpful! ^-^)
the lightning thief, the sea of monsters, the titans curse, the battle of the Labyrinth, the demigod files, and the last olympian There's also a second series called the Heroes of Olympus. The first one is the Lost Hero, and the second one is the Son of Neptune. The third book in the Heroes of Olympus is called the Mark of Athena.
The actual ending in the book has them returning the bolt to olympus, and then going back to camp. Percy is given the choice to stay or go home. Needing to clear his head, he goes down to the arena and finds Luke there killing dummies with his new sword, the backbiter (one side is celestial bronze and the other is steel, so it can hurt monsters and mortals) and starts talking to Percy. Percy also notices that he has a package of Coke, indicating that he has been out in the real world recently. Luke reveals himself as a servant to Kronos, and summons a pit scorpion to kill Percy, saying that a new Golden Age is coming, and Percy won't be part of it. He also reveals that he and Ares were working together to steal the bolt. Luke then disappears. Now realistically, the movie is an alternate ending in itself. It has Percy and Luke fighting over the bolt before Percy is able to take it to Zeus. They fight, Percy blows up a boat load of water tanks and forms a trident out of water and throws it at Luke. Luke then lands in a river (the East or Hudson). Another ending would be Luke showing up to fight Percy alongside Ares, therefore eliminating both the movie bit, and the book bit. Some people might have better ideas, but this lets someone compare book and movie, and a person's imagination.
