The most efficient way is joining a stage school such as Stagecoach. There might be a local one for you to join, but these sort of places are usually expensive. You could also try casting websites, but I personally have had no luck with them. I think the name of the one I joined was Angel Stages, this was free, but you have to be over sixteen to appear in their searches.

You should take every opportunity you have to act, in case someone spots you. School plays and drama clubs are ideal, and a lot of fun :)

Also, research open cast calls, as that means anyone can audition.
