Craig Ferguson has been sober since February 18, 1992. He was about to commit suicide on December 25, 1991, but his friend distracting him by offering him a drink. Soon after that, he realized he needed help and asked a friend, who showed him to Farm Place, a rehabilitation center in Surrey, England. Right before he got in the car to go to rehab, his sister gave him a glass of wine to calm his nerves, and he has never had a drink since. He has been sober for nearly nineteen years now and is going strong!
