The Everly Brothers are a musical close-harmony group, consisting of Don (Isaac Donald) Everly and Phil (Phillip) Everly who have been together since 1955. Their influences stretched far beyond their own music, with The Beach Boys, The Beatles, and Simon and Garfunkel all citing them as influences upon their style. With 35 Billboard Top 100 hits, they have the most charting hits for a duo in the history of the Billboard charts, and trail only Hall and Oates for top 40 hits for a duo.

I am looking for the same information so post back to me... The best online "weekly" Billboard Hot 100s is at: www.umdmusic.com Another source is at www.Billboard.biz, where if you sign up for one month $24.99, you can scrape/print all the information you want. A website with 1980-2003 "yearly" Hot 100s is at: www.cylist.com. Enter "Billboard Hot 100" as search criteria. If you are downloading MP3s, the person who put the "package" together may have included a file with the information, or it may be imbedded in the MP3 tags. Finally searching the online music sources (yahooo!music, napster, etc.) may already have the information for selecting songs. I checked out www.napster.co.uk and they have "5 decades" of Billboard lists to download music from (as menu lists). I tried to signup, but I live in Thailand and "service not available in your country". Another, less elegant, way would be to purchase the book "Billboard's Hottest Hot 100 Hits, Updated and Expanded 3rd Edition (Paperback) by Fred Bronson" and OCR scan the lists to digital form. Hope this helps...

Phil Everly and his brother Don were the Everly Brothers Starting in the late 1950's, they had hits like Wake Up Little Susie, Bye Bye Love, Cathy's Clown and All I Have To Do Is Dream.
The majority of their early hits were written by the song-writing husband & wife team Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, when the brothers were on the Cadence label. One of their hits for their new label, Warner Brothers ("Crying in the Rain") was co-written by Carole King; another ("Walk Right Back") was written by Sonny Curtis, a former friend of Buddy Holly who played in Holly's first band, the Three Tunes. Some of the Everly Brothers' biggest hits, they wrote themselves-- they both collaborated on "Cathy's Clown," while Don wrote "(Till) I Kissed You" and Phil wrote "When Will I Be Loved."
This question may refer to the Everly brothers from the United States. Isaac and Phillip Everly performed country and rock and roll music. They had numerous hits from the late 1950s onwards and their music is said to have influenced many other pop musicians such as the Beatles.
