There are nine and will not be any more coming out. First one is 'Stormbreaker'(released 2000). Second is 'Point Blanc'(released 2001). Third is 'Skeleton Key'(released 2002). Fourth is 'Eagle Strike'(released 2003). Fith is 'Scorpia'(released 2004). Sixth is 'Ark Angel'(released 2005). Seventh is 'Snakehead'(released 2008). Eighth is 'Crocodile Tears'(released 2009). Ninth is 'Scorpia Rising'(released 2011). Just to make everyone clear 'Yassen' (estimated time of publication: 2012) is not in the Alex Rider series but is a different story line. Also as a lot of people talk about this 'Scorpia' and 'Scorpia Rising' sound very similar; yes but are infact very different. Scorpia Rising is the last book a complete finally of the story of Alex Rider in which Anthony sadly finishes and no argument should disagree with anything that I've said. All dates are from Wikipedia.
There are currently 8 books out he will not be making 11. he will be making 10 the 8th is Crocodile Tears. The 9th will be Yassen. The 10th will be either Endurance Point or Scorpia Rising

Yes, apparently they are. Many people seem to like the books so it was finally announced they are going to make both the second and third books a movie.
Stormbreaker (written by Anthony Horowitz) and featuring Alex Rider as a protagonist has depending on what format you are reading, 192-240 pages. the hardback has 192 pages, and the normal book has 240.
So far there are eight, Stormbreaker, Point Blank, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia, Ark Angel, Snakehead and Crocodile Tears. There will be two more books in the series, so the answer to the question is there will be ten books in all.
