Bill Driscoll, a character in O. Henry's "The Ransom of Red Chief," is typically portrayed as a rugged, somewhat disheveled man. He is depicted as having a rough demeanor, reflecting his role as a kidnapper who becomes increasingly frustrated with the mischievous boy they have abducted. His appearance suggests a working-class background, emphasizing his practicality and the challenges he faces throughout the story.

Ronan O'Gara - 123 Brian Driscoll - 123 Now if the question was the most capped player for the Irish Rugby Union Team, then Ronan is the man. However, The most capped Irish Player as the question demands is shared by both men as Brian O'Driscoll has won some caps with the British Lions. Pedantic I know - But question would be rejected on a quiz show as being misleading!!

When answering a question like this you must consider a number of factors when coming to a decision. Who creates a buzz around the stadium when he receives a ball. Who is the best defensive player? Who is the best attacking player. Who has played longest at the top level? Who has the most international tries? Who has the most international assists? Who made all the teams he played for, consistently better? Who has been marked by two men in attacking situations for most of his career, yet still manages to create things? In my humble opinion, the best rugby centre in the world is(and has been since the retirement of Tim Horan) Brian O' Driscoll. There are arguments for Umaga but I remember a test match in New Zealand circa 2002 when both men were at the peak of their powers. Brian O' Driscoll ran so many rings around Umaga that night it was painful for any All Black supporter. Umaga was dropped for the subsequent test. They didn't play against each other until 2005 and we all know what happened then? Yannick Jauzion is a classy operator but he too has been consistently outplayed by O'Driscoll in their head to heads. Stirling Mortlock is a great carrier of the ball, and a much better kicker than O' Driscoll but he just lacks the balance and class of the Irish man. My Top 3 are as follows: 1- Brian O' Driscoll 2- Stirling Mortlock 3- Jean De Villiers .
