When did the NCAA allow freshmen to play at the varsity level?

NCAA Division One Freshmen could play varsity ball until 1954. The NCAA then changed the rules and freshman were ineligible to play. The rule was rescinded in 1973. That is why you see college greats like Robertson, West, Alcindor (Jabbar), Mount, Maravich, Carr etc. playing in only 75 to 90 games. They were eligible for only three varsity seasons. Maravich, Mount, Robertson, Lucas, Russell all would have put up some unreachable numbers if they played 140 games in a career like the guys of today. If Maravich had played in 113 varsity games he would have scored 5000 career points and Oscar would have scored over 3800 points.

Who is better Klaas Jan Huntelaar or Sergio Aguero?

I think Klaas Jan Huntelaar is a better striker! Klaas is 25 years old and has played 265 games and scored a 179 goals. Sergio is 21 years old and has played 184 games and has only scored 73 goals. So Klaas has played just 81 more games but, has scored 106 MORE goals!!! Sergio's best season was when he scored 24 goals. Klaas scored 36 goals for 2 consecutive seasons running with Ajax. You'll be hard pushed to find anyone who can beat that!

How much is a 1955 Yankees program excellent mint condition worth?

A 1955 New York Yankees program/Scorecard is worth about $30.-$40. in excellent - near/mint condition. Condition is the most important factor of all providing that the item is authentic. With programs/scorecards the slightest flaws will bring the price down significantly. An exceptional mint condition scorecard could sell for more. Common flaws would be staining, foxing (yellowing), fading, creases, rips, loose pages, cracked binding, and writing on the cover. Un-scored programs will generally sell at a higher price than a scored program but sometimes it doesn't effect value. The over all condition, and how well the cover displays will. The value on a "scored" program as opposed to a un-scored program can vary depending on the game, and collectors preference. In general I would say an un-scored program will sell at a higher price. Some collectors do not mind scored programs
