Morphious: Actually, you can go to the Hoenn Region. If you go to Riun City (Third Gym Badge), at the Pokemon center, if you go to the dock closest by it, there is a boat that takes you there. ITS ONLY THERE AT NIGHT!!!!!!

No you cannot go to other regions in Pokemon Pearl or Diamond version but in Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver you can go to the Jotoh region.

You can't go to different regions in platinum. The only game that lets you do that is Heart gold/Soul Silver... PS For heart gold and soul silver, the regions in it are johto and kanto even though Hoenn region champion Steven is in it. Hope this helped :D You can't in Black/White either =/

No. The only 2 regions you can go to in Heart Gold and Soul Silver are the Johto and Kanto regions. However, you do meet Steven twice and obtain a Hoenn starter Pokemon. Also, you can find Latios/Latias as roaming Pokemon after meeting Steven for the first time.(Soul Silver=Latios, Heart Gold=Latias.)
