there has been 3 generations (not including the American Godzilla) of godzilla, so 2 other godzillas have died
the 1st godzilla was suffocated my a chemical substance created by the humans. the second godzilla melted after absorbing too much radiation(his son became the new godzilla) and godzilla jr grew up and had a son named minilla(minigodzilla) (cycle below from1st godzilla to 2nd godzilla to godzilla jr to minilla)
non of the monsters die but godzilla gets frozen in ice until king kong vs godzilla but its same godzilla in the 2 godzilla but he dies in the japanes version
How do you know he isn't? i saw him once. i swear. i did! I'm NOT CRaZyy!
I personally think Godzilla did not die in the end cause during the credits when we see Godzilla and kiry sinking to the bottom of sea Godzilla is still roaring and growling and there's a post credit scene possibly hinting at a sequel
No. Godzilla got sent to a black hole but somehow escaped, either that or he dug himself into the ground so far that it didn't reach him.. or somethin. At the end of the movie there are tremors and such around the area that the blackhole hit to hint to the fact he didn't die. And just as a trivia thing.. you know that isn't Godzilla but Godzilla Jr.. right?
Godzilla (ゴジラ, Gojira) is a daikaijū, a Japanese movie monster, first appearing in Ishirō Honda's 1954 film Godzilla. Since then, Godzilla has gone on tohave many remakes

Yes, he melted.
In the American version of the battle, Godzilla lost and probably drowned. In the Japanese version, King Kong lost the battle. The answer above is right but in real Godzilla King Kong is tiny to Godzilla and Godzilla cant be drowned. So the American version is wrong

Godzilla, because Gamera is just to weak of an opponent. It would most likely be the same length as when Godzilla fought Zilla in Godzilla final wars about 30 seconds and Gamera would die.
