There are usually only three. So far, Queen Elizabeth II has celebrated a Silver Jubilee (in 1977, marking her 25th year on the throne), a Golden Jubilee (in 2002, a 50th year observance) and a Diamond Jubilee (in 2012, for her 60th year as queen). A Diamond Jubilee normally would be held for the 75th anniversary of a monarch's reign, but an arrangement was made to honor Queen Victoria in 1897 for her 60th year on the throne. Queen Elizabeth II is the only other British queen to observe a Diamond Jubilee. According to Katie Couric of ABC News, Queen Elizabeth would celebrate a Platinum Jubilee if she is still Britain's monarch in 2022.
i think there is 30 years. silver jubilee is 40 years, golden is 50, and diamond is 60!
George III celebrated a Jubilee after 50 years on the throne in 1809.Queen Victoria celebrated a Golden Jubilee in 1887 and a Diamond Jubilee in 1897.Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Silver Jubilee in 1977 and her Golden Jubilee in 2002.Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Diamond Jubilee in June 2012 .In 4 years time Queen Elizabeth will become the longest reigning monarch in British history.
Three- the Silver Jubilee in 1977, her Golden Jubilee in 2002, and her Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
The Queen's jubilees are celebrated after completing 25 and 50 years of her reign. Queen Elizabeth II has had two jubilees so far: her Silver Jubilee in 1977, marking 25 years on the throne, and her Golden Jubilee in 2002, marking 50 years on the throne.
