Bruce Wayne is a billionaire. And because he owns the largest company in the DC Universe, and because of his many investments, his fortune is always growing.
The first Batman comic book came out on May 1st 1939. Bruce Wayne's Golden-Age birthday is April 7, 1915 (but that wouldn't make sense nowadays as the Batman universe has been adapted to the new ages). Modern tradition places Bruce Wayne's birthdate on February 19th. There is no certain birth date as there are many story versions of the character. Basically each story and story series has its own universe.

Wayne never made a film titled The Duke. Duke was Wayne's nickname from his childhood.
