The two parks' computers don't talk to each other so you can get a Fast Pass in Disneyland and then (if you have a Park Hopper ticket) go to California Adventure and get a Fast Pass there right away without waiting until the time on your Disneyland Fast Pass.

Some ways to save money at the fair include: buying tickets in advance; limiting rides or buying an unlimited pass; bringing one's own food, either into the fair (if allowed) or for tailgating; enjoying the fair's free performances and exhibits; and avoiding the games, which are difficult to win. With these tips, a day at the fair can be a budget-friendly activity.
