What kind of coin? What condition is it in? Does it have a mintmark?
The machine inside, scans the coin for size and weighs it.
Your 1925 Liberty coin is actually a 1925 PEACE dollar, this series of "silver dollars" were made from 1921 to 1928 & 1934 to 1935. The 1925 date is very common and assuming the coin is circulated and has no "S" mintmark retail values are $16.00-$20.00
It depends on which specific coin you're talking about.
Mention type of coin pls, Write in details
You are asking about a One Lira coin from Italy (KM#45). The coin, roughly the size of a US quarter, weighs 5 grams and is 83.5% silver, giving it an ASW (Actual Silver Weight) of 0.1342 troy ounces. With silver priced at US$39.20 per troy ounce (as of April 5, 2011), the "melt value" of the coin is US$5.26. The front has an image of King Victor Emmanuel the Third with the words "VITTORIO EMANUELE III RE D'ITALIA" (Italian for "Victor Emmanuel the Third, King of Italy"). The back has a Quadriga (a chariot drawn by four horses next to each other) with a standing female figure in it, with the date to the left and "L 1" (short for "One Lira") below. 3,475,000 such coins were produced in 1909, all at the Rome mint. According to the Standard Catalog of World Coins, an example is valued at US$15 in Fine condition, US$50 in Very Fine condition, US$280 in Extremely Fine condition, and US$600 in Uncirculated condition.
Please post a new question with the coin's denomination.
$40 to $22,000 depending upon the condition of the coin.
Look at your coin again, there were no 1925-D quarters minted. There are 1925 quarters but none struck in Denver.
Assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, the 1925 Peace dollar is a high mintage common date, retail values are $17.00-$26.00 depending on the grade of the coin.
The coin is NOT a Liberty silver dollar, it's a PEACE dollar (1921-1935) and assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, retail values are $32.00-$37.00 depending on the actual grade of the coin. 1925 is a common date.
€427
The coin should have a "D" mintmark on the reverse, only the Denver mint produced Quarter Eagles in 1925. It's a very common coin that circulated widely. Average value is $275.00-$350.00
OK. if it's dated 1925 it's a counterfeit coin. No Half Eagles were struck from 1917-1928 the last year was 1929
