barbizon
Barbizon has been in business for over 70 years and as a Barbizon representative I can give you the scoop: Barbizon does work in terms of modeling and acting job placement for most of our graduates that dedicate themselves but attending Barbizon does not guarantee you a job. Our students come to Barbizon for a variety of reasons. Some are serious about wanting to get jobs in modeling or acting, some come for training in pageantry and some come because they are looking to increase their self-esteem and confidence. While we can't guarantee job placement we do want to see our students succeed and many of them have. We provide the training but it takes a lot of hard work and dedication after classes are completed. Many of the students here have found success after graduation. For instance, Miss America 2010 Caressa Cameron is a Barbizon graduate and instructor. The modeling industry is a very difficult industry to get into and we provide the training that will help you get there...it just takes hard work and dedication.

Don't pay a modeling school and expect them to teach you how to act.
Barbizon does not guarantee that they can provide modeling jobs in the future. Both modeling schools and agencies alike cannot guarantee work. In addition to training, Barbizon can only point you in the right direction and give you exposure in the hopes that you will find modeling opportunities.
