It really depends on how fast you learn and catch on to things and how long you practice and take the guitar lessons. If you really want to learn and get very good and are practicing a lot everyday and learning as much as you can I`m sure you`ll get very good VERY soon. Like maybe 2/3 months. But honestly, there isn't a end to learning it. U can learn MORE and MORE about guitar your whole life. Its just the basics you`ll cover in about 3 months if you try very hard and work at it. I , too , are learning how to play acoustic guitar. I think its a little confusing but I`m sure I`ll catch on :)
well thats easy i would say about 5 years to master it but about 2 years to learn it
to master it your first year you would focus on the basics like learning to get the sound, note read, and finger properly. the second year you would focus on your fingering. the next year you would focus on note reading. the next year you would focus on mastering fingering. the next year you would focus on mastering note reading. the last year you would focus on everything and play very hard songs.
to learn it you would use the first year to learn to get sound and finger. the next yesr you would focus on note reading
i have played the Flute for 4 years i love it
You can learn the basics of guitar in about 2 hours however it takes years of practice to attain proficiency, i have been playing for one year and i have just crossed over into the "o.k" level of soloing and so forth.
haha one year for 'OK' that's why i love this instrument, noone wants it to be easy, well noone who loves it enough to learn for soo long anyway, im on day two and your right, 2 hours to learn the basic chords might be about right for some people, but your fingers will get very painful before two hours.
Honestly? It depends on how much time you have to put into it. I think anyone can learn to play if I did.
I have been playing for 2 years and am still intermediate at best, however I have taught myself everything I know from the internet and chord charts. I know many people who have more time and someone to play with, they are much better than I am just because of practice and mentoring.
Bottom line, You can probably start playing 3 chord rock songs in half an hour. But your fingers will kill you. With practice and time it will get better. It took me a good 6 months to build up the calluses on my fingertips so the strings didn't cut into them.
Good luck, I am thankful every day that I finally made myself learn.
Russ
i learnt most of the chords yesterday(well prob. just like the basic ones, i don't really know how many there are). Today it is very difficult to play but i will carry on. fingers are trying to build some calluse but it hurts a lot more today. at first some chords felt impossible and i just didn't realise how much my fingers can bend so just push further than you think you should, just a bit. i can barely change chords quick enough to make any approach at a song but know that will change very soon. i recon if you put your mind to it you can learn to play simple songs very soon, like a couple of days if your fingers let you, and if you keep your mind on it who knows? it's very personal question though and for that reason it's a bit of a stupid one really, because it's one question that noone can answer but you and you've asked thousands of people at once who can't really answer it. like saying what age will my brother learn to ride a bike?
it takes a few weeks for your fingers to get used to the guitar, and for your fingertips to create calluses. It takes a month to learn a few beginner songs, and once you spend 2 or more months playing the guitar 4 or 5 times a week when your bored, you can play for the rest of your life. So don't give up! its worth it, and it gets so easy after the first year! its like sucking dick! good luck stranger :)
Every one of us learn to master things at a different rate, it would take me forever to learn to play the guitar, but for you it will probably be much quicker.
An afternoon to learn a few chords, a lifetime to master.
Depends on the person. Some pick it up in a few months, some take many years. However, expect to take a year or two at least to get good.
A lot
Who knows? Why would she tell what her dosage is...
I would say gligar because it can evolve to gliscor and become a lot stronger and learn moves that can take down opponents easily.
It depends on where you live
Scary face, powder snow, odor sleuth, and mud bomb are moves Mamoswine can learn in Pokemon. Others include take down and stealth rock.
better question is - who would want to?

It can only take an hour or an afternoon to learn a simple song such as a campfire one.
You can always take lessons.
The time taken to learn to play the guitar would vary with each individual, and depend on the amount of time practising, however, based on practise of 15 minutes per day you should be able to learn in around 3 months.
Anyone can play the guitar if they take lessons. Anyone can learn to play the guitar if they practice outside of the lessons.
take lessons. if you want to learn the correct fingerings and positions then take lessons from a professional
