Bruce banner is around 40 years of age because he was gamma radiated in 1969

Bruce didn't have any exposure to gamma radiation until after he was born, and even then, it was very little because his dad didn't want to kill him. Assuming he was, lets say, five when he started the process. (Flashbacks: First Hulk movie showing how his anger management problems). And he didn't get a full brunt of gamma radiation until he was in his early twenties, while at college. So, its really a toss up; he's either forty-six or so, or his about sixty something.

It all depends on when he was born, and when you want to be technical about when Bruce was hit with gamma radiation.
