How old is Wendy marvell when she is little?

About 12 in most adaptations of the story - but in the original story she is around 7 or 8 years old. As she is the oldest child of Darlings and her little brother Michael is 5-years old and John needs to be at least 6-years old. Also, Wendy mentions to her mother that she's at the same age as Peter Pan, and Peter can't be much older than seven or eight because the adult Wendy intented to lift him in her arms. Also, Barrie himself used photos of the 6-years old Michael Llevelyn-Davis as directions for the design of the Peter Pan statue in Kengsinton Gardens, London.
