it depends on some things:
how old your turning.
how many people u want to come .
how long it has been since u have had a party.
and what u want to do.
i think if you are turning 10,13,16,18 and 21 are the agers u want to have a big party!
for the other years you could have about 6 people over .
if u had a party last year i dont think u realy need a nother one but if u have not had one in a cuppel of years i think your mum and dad should let u have one!
i think a party at home would be best place to have the party!
so ask ur mum and dad, talk about what u want to do, and why u think u shoul have a party.also talk to them about what u are going to do to help cleen up for the party and how ur going to hepl clean up after the party!
(1)You need to earn their trust. (2)if your turning 18+ u don't need a party from your parents. If your 21 or turning (that day) 21 go to a freaking club. (3) After you turn 11 you should stop wanting your parents to plan a party for you .Just ask if u can have a party and you should plan it.

Yes, you should still give the child his gift.
If you received a gift from someone at your birthday party, your only requirement is to send a thank you note or card. If you are invited to a birthday party, you should bring a gift, however if this person is not having a party you do not have to give them a gift. You may choose to acknowledge the birthday with a small gift, a card or your personal good-wishes.
