go through Ilex forest, enter Goldenrod city, Beat Whitney, then go north until you reach the park. Go to the north-east corner, and there's and entrance. Go down a little bit and you'll see a path to you're right. Beat the two trainers there, and talk to the girl who's next to the odd tree. After that, go back to Goldenrod, and enter the house that's right next to the gym. Talk to the lady in red, and she gives you a water bottle. Go back to the strange tree, press A in front of it, and you'll pour water on it. After you do that, it attacks you. It's a level 20 Sudowoodo, and you might wanna catch it, since this is the only opportunity to catch it in the game, so stock up on Great Balls.

∙ 14y agoFirst of all you have to have beat Whitney, the 3rd gym leader. Then, you go back to Goldenrod City and go into the flowershop (its East if I remember right). The owner will give you a spraybottle and then you have to go all the way back. Spray Sudowoodo (by pressing A on him and choosing the option to spray him) and you will enter battle with him. You can defeat him but you could also catch him for your pokedex and to collect him. Go North and.........The End.

∙ 14y agok, u need to go to goldenrod, in the top of the place, you will see a girly type store. go in it and ask the girl there stuff. she will give you the squirtbottle that looks like a squirtle. go to the tree. talk to it (A. K. A. hit "A" at it) and then the "tree" is really a sudowoodo lv 20. catch it or kill it, then you can pass. YIPPE

∙ 13y agogo to goldenrod city, once u have defeated the gym there u can go to the flower shop and the lady there will give u a squirt bottle, then go to the "tree" and talk to it automatically it will ask u to use the squirt bottle, use it and if u defeat it or not you'll get past.
