to kill Darth Vader... it is simple. the first step is to get him angry (but stay out of his way) try and put down padme or something 2nd step is to get angry urself. the light side of the force is just too weak, harness the power of the dark side and finally, be unrelentless, don't give him anytime to breath, just snap that saber down time and time again

Emperor Palpatine is actually among the easiest bosses in the game, especially on Sith Lord and Sith Master difficulties. To defeat him the most important thing is that you should not directly confront him. Always hide behind the short walls when throw things and when he is protected by his shield. Everytime he finishes throwing things at you, his shield will drop and you can force lightning him. It does a fair amount of damage as well (make sure to equip the lightsaber crystal that amplifies force lightning damage).

After you do the damage, his shield will go back up and he will bring shadow guards out. Defeat them and repeat. Remember to just hide until his shield his down and hit him with force lightning.
